Every day, a diabetic should eat at least three fruits and four vegetables. In the dairy food group, a person should eat foods such as sugar free yogurt and milk. A diabetic should be eating meat and nuts to keep up their protein. Turkey is probably the most lean meat, so that would be a wise choice.
